Learning Fast     After winning defensive player of the year for the Tri-City Charge in 2007 Kirby St. Remy went into the offseason motivated with something to prove and it showed when the 2008 preseason started.  After dodging recruiters from other teams in the NEFL, Kirby came into The Charge preseason camp stronger, faster, wiser and just plain ready to go.  Kirby emerged quickly as a leader on the defense and as a leader on the team.  Kirby suffered a knee injury mid way through the season which forced him to miss 2 games but Kirby was able to make it back into the line up and was able to solidify an outstanding group of Charge line backers and Kirby became an essential component to a shut down defense.  Kirby has the potential to have 40 tackles and 7 sacks. He is also a threat to force fumbles because he is such a hard hitter not to mention the speed and athletic ability to have an interception or two.   1/5/09      David Franklin       2008 Reg.
