The Tri-City Charge would like to announce the recent signing of former UNH/Dover High School standout Nicholas Couturier.
Nick is about at a playing weight of 275 now and has decreased his 40 time to about low 4.9 to high 4.8. He squats 600 + pounds and benches about 410. The UNH standout will be playing DE in 2009 for Coach Tony's 3-3 high pressure defense.
"Nick is going to be a perfect 3-4/3-3 type DE, a position which requires size and speed says Coach Richardson."
Nick will also be working with Coach Keaney (defensive line) and Coach Aaron (strength + conditioning).
Strengths: Combination of size and speed with a great football background.
Weakness: Will have to get used to playing on the defensive side of the ball again.
Player comparison: Richard Seymour type player who will require double teams most of the time.
