(playball) Welcome to the Tri-City Charge Semi-Pro Football website! The Tri-City Charge, formerly the Tri-City Chargers, have re-formed a new non-profit organization that will be kicking off the 2007 New England Football League (NEFL) season. We will be the 34th team to join the league. The Tri-City Charge which was once the 1999 Maritime League Champions will once again re-build the franchise of championship stature for the tri-city area.
We are looking for players, coaches and cheerleaders to join our grass roots organization. Players, cheerleaders and coaches around the NEFL are all working class adults that are 18 years and older who are welcome to join. We are a family organization and recognize that each of us have personal commitments and guarantee that we will provide an opportunity for you and your family to become a part of our growing organization. We understand everyones first priority are family and career, for player and coaches, practices will be held every Sunday mourning and games will be played on Saturday or Sunday, depending on schedule. Practice begins in early May.Opening Day kickoff in late July with an 8-game schedule.
For all you cheerleaders interested in becoming a Tri-City Chargette, you will be needed for home games only, which will be for 4 games a season and will practice once weekly, day to be determined. The Tri-City Chargettes will also be a major part of our fundraising team which will include an annual calendar (participation optional).
